<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><Articles><Article><id>54</id><JournalTitle>AWARENESS AMONG URBAN AND RURAL SCHOOL TEACHERS TOWARDS THE MANAGEMENT OF EMERGENCY DENTAL CONDITION IN SCHOOL STUDENTS</JournalTitle><Abstract>The study was designed to know about the awareness of urban and rural school teachers to the management of
emergency dental conditions. For this purpose, avulsion was considered as a common and widely associated dental
emergency condition. A total of 170 teachers from 12 randomly selected schools from urban and rural areas were selected in
this study. The willing teachers were asked to fill questionnaire and submit it within 3 days. 137 teachers returned completed
questionnaires among them 27 had to be discarded as they were incompletely filled. Most of the teachers in urban sectors
preferred referral to a dentist in case of any emergency conditions whereas it was found to be too less in rural areas. Many
teachers were not satisfied with their knowledge and awareness regarding management of dental emergencies and most of
