of the disease. Cortical and subcapsular cataract appears to be closely related to environmental stresses such as ultraviolet
exposure, diabetes, and drug ingestion. ultraviolet radiation exposure, diabetes, diarrhea, nutritional factors and certain
medications. The other factors which contribute to the development of cataract include education, gender smoking,
